My shrimp salad is not very nicely arranged. Sort of like life.

Saturday evening at the pool. I'm grilling 30 burgers and 24 hot dogs for four families. Spirits are flowing and kids are entertained. Good evening to be alive.

I think my wife is knocked up again. This is the 2nd weekend in a row she's asked for chicken stew (same as last time)
First you brown some chicken

Ever so often I get a envie for Popeye's chicken - this evening was just such a day. We don't have a Popeye's in Asheville so I drove an hour up I-26 to Johnson City, TN. Got my two piece spicy white dinner with Cajun rice. I'm satisfied now for a few more months.
