I know it's early yet. I'm sitting here twiddling my thumbs waiting for time to put the chicken on the grill. No one else is home at the moment and I'm making homemade Chicken Shawarma. The grill is hot and this is the only thing left to do grilling the marinated chicken.
Got the salad made, dressing made, garlic yogurt sauce made and the hummus platter ready to eat.
What ch'all eatin' this evening???

Frying some chicken to go with butter beans, purple hull peas, and fresh tomatoes.

I sautéed some onions and carrots, then stewed some fresh tomatoes, garlic, homemade chicken stock, sausage, kale and speckled butter beans in a pot.
We shall see how it turns out.

Everyone at my house has strep throat and the infant is teething. I thawed out some frozen red beans and added to it for a nice and fresh batch. I just opened my FBD and it was long overdue.

Green salad with lettuce, craisins, apple bits, carrots, walnuts, raspberry vinaigrette and chicken tender pieces. Wheat thins with laughing cow cheese.

Had an arugula salad with cucumbers and cherry tomatoes... Asian style dressing. I've been having one of these salads a day for the last week and it hasn't gotten old yet. Love arugula
