Portofino Island Resort since yesterday evening braving Mother Nature. I'm calming her this evening by way of grilled redfish on us half shell, squash/ zucchini medley, Caesar salad, garlic bread, and steamed Royal Reds for some local jernt for the group.

Yall ever have one of those days when you think about cooking and you say "frick it, I'm cooking up some bacon and eggs instead."

That's tonight for me. 4 strips bacon and 4 fried eggs.

nothing wrong with that. I like a "breakfast supper" every now and then. The combinations are pretty much endless. Favorite is ham and cheese omlet with grits and toast.

I don't get the hate for Cork here each evening. The woman is simply feeding her husband and kids after a long day's work. She may put her morsels on a piece of VCT here and there, but she knows the way to Mr Cork's heart is through his belly screen.
