I've been seeing "crackslaw" mentioned by keto dieters, so I finally looked into it. Turns out it's something I've made before, I just called it cabbage and ground beef, but mine has caraway seeds.

Tony's and a little sriracha. A couple of cloves of garlic, some red onion and a bit of yellow bell pepper are also in there. I was going to add a bit of carrot, but it must have rolled off the counter, because I saw the dog chomping on it on the couch.

What was left after the dog used it as a chew toy.



The finished product is much tastier than it sounds.

Tony's is not required, I just like it.

I have a strange affinity for caraway seeds but I only seem to use them atop sauerkraut. What else do you use them in Darla? I'm going to have to research this too because I've got a nice pouch from the Spice House that I keep on hand for kraut.

Stuffed bell peppers. It just adds a nice little extra pop of flavor. I saw a recipe for Brussels sprouts that called for them, but I haven't tried it.

She is weird! She likes strawberries and blackberries, too, but I let her taste those of my own accord.

I think she wanted the carrot because she knew she wasn't supposed to have it. Every time I'd look at her on the couch, she'd chomp faster and I wasn't even trying to take it away.
