French Onion Soup for the wife and I.

Italian Sausage and Ziti in the pressure cooker for the rugrats. Was easier than I thought, came out good.

Junior turns 3 on a couple of weeks and is getting a big play set for the backyard. It measures 28' wide x 20' long x 10' high. No idea why this is, but the sumbitch is paid for. Once I was apprised of this, I realized that a few trees must go to make room for it. The FIL and I have cut up four trees today, removed Chrismtas lights from the house, and made a seafood gumbo that is close to being devoured.

So that's it. I'm having a seafood gumbo with fresh shrimp, crabs, and ersters this evening.

I'd be down to participate in the chopped threads if they made a return. I think monthly was a lot for most posters. Maybe make it a quarterly thing. Makes it easier to use and showcase things that are fresh and can be purchased from local producers.
