All of the Wendy's I frequent are extremely fast at getting food at. Way better than Burger King and still better than McDonald's.

I agree, Wendy's move stuff fast. I have no complaints about them as a business, I'm just answering Powerman's question.

If wendy's wants to increase profits, they'll bring back the Wild Mountain Chicken Sandwich and bacon cheeseburger. Best thing they ever put out.

This is unfortunate. I think Wendy's has the best fast food burgers, at least in the Lafayette area. Whenever I ate there my burgers were always right off the griddle adn really tasty.

But why are you assuming the new ones won't be as good? They might be better

Yeah I wasn't sure what their financial situation was when I commented

I'd have to say that I prefer going to their stores over BK and McDonald's though

I've never had any problems with the service like people are claiming here

You're right, they might be. I like mustard on my burger, but I will try the new one.

I'm sure you could get them to put mustard on it

If they spent this much time trying to hone it to be something better then chances are it might be better

I like their old burgers as well. So did they start selling them today nationwide? I might go try one.

Stopped in today and tried one. Not bad. I think they're better than their previous burgers. But of course I never really eat at Wendy's, perhaps two to three times a year, so I can't really say why I liked this burger better.

Is the Hot N Juicy burger standard for all of them now or a separate menu item?

They replaced all their standard burgers with this burger. It isn't a separate menu item.

Just got one from the drive thru window

They had the foil wrapping that went completely around just like they had with the old ones. So whoever was concerned about that can rest easy.

It appears to still have a square shape but it's just not as obvious because the patty is a little thicker. I think overall it's a solid burger as far as fast food goes. I don't think anyone will try the new ones and be turned away if they liked the old ones.

Same here.

And yeah, it's still a square patty.

Making sure I'm not seeing things. It did seem to be thicker and not as much cross sectional area. Like they just squeezed it in a bit.

Man the local franchisee gotta love the Food Board. Supporting his fast food chain. Hell I might even try one. Remember they have sea salt on the fries too.

I don't know if I'd consider this supportive as much as it is informative

I'm surprised I haven't seen them doing more advertising...

The Wendy's I used to frequent quite often in Austin Texas was hands down the best fast food restaurant I have ever been to.

It was insane how fast they got you in and out. The line could be a mile long and it still took minutes to get your food.

You literally ordered, paid, got your food 100% of the time.

In the zillions of times I went there, they only screwed up my order one time. They accidentally gave me an extra burger.

Heck, most fast food places in Austin are managed about 464% better than the best FF in New Orleans.

Only really crappy service I ever got at FF in Austin was a 20 minute wait at Popeyes even though I was the only person in line. Popeye's is a fixed point in time and space where the service is always horrific.

There's a Wendy's next door to my work like that. There has been several times I have gone through the drive thru and I know I never came to a complete stop. And the food always tasted fresh. They have also never gotten my order incorrect.

What are you talking about? Are you saying your family almost purchased the entire company?
