I figured someone would bring that up

There are a few places I'd never drink a draft beer from, but none are considered restaurants. All are dinky bars.

frick that, I'll never send anything back.

Not because I think it's lame or anything, but I worked at restaurants all throughout my high school days, and the chances that you being a victim of the 5 second rule increase dramatically if food is taken back.

As Zealot put it, you don't get out much if you think every burger you've ever had in your life tastes the same.

I'm sorry, but there is a reason there are entire restaurants, websites, cookbooks, TV shows, etc. dedicated to solely burgers.

They don't all taste the same. The type of meat you use.. the way you season it.. whether you handle it a lot or not.. whether you press it down on the flat top or not.. the cheese you use.. the ingredients you put on it.. the bread you use for a bun..

All of those things change the way a burger tastes. If you think a pre-frozen burger that has been overhandled, mixed with Tony's, smashed on a flat top, and on a packaged sesame seed bun tastes like a freshly ground burger, handled very little, not pressed, and only seasoned with salt and pepper, and served on a brioche bun.. Then you clearly have zero taste perspective.

While I do like the taste of their sweet bun, as other have said, it disintegrates before you're even finished with the burger.

So you enjoy that extra dash of "parmesan cheese" on your chicken parmesan that was sent back because the marinara is too chunky, eh?

My wife has worked in the food and service industry since high school from a hostess to a General Manager and she has never seen a customer's food tampered with. Either you are lying or you worked at some really shitty restaurants with really shitty employees.

I cannot believe how many grown people participated in a debate about cheese fries in this thread.

I don't see how that's what you got out of what people were debating.

It's a food board. People discuss food. In this case, people discuss the value of overpaying for [shitty] food like cheese fries.

It's kinda what this board is made for.

I have, and I did. We're talking about a Walk Ons, here.

I've also worked at very nice restaurants where customer service is the number one priority, and something like that would never, ever happen. The odds of something being brought out at a nice restaurant, that looked like something in said picture, is almost 0 anyways.

I worked in one for a whopping total of 4 months and saw shite go down. Most definitely not a shitty restaurant either

It's a toss-up. I worked at Sonic when I was 15, Dempsey's for 3 years, North Gate Tavern when they did food, and Bulldog.

None ever messed with anyone's food, and it wouldn't have been tolerated.

Now.. I've put extra of something that someone asked for none of when they were extremely rude
(ex: The woman who wanted no sausage in her RB&R "no matter how I had to pick it out")
