Went last night and was terribly disappointed. Service was slow and harly ever saw our waiter. I ordered the strip which has zero sear and was gray in color and a bit over cooked. The Mac n cheese was good and the creamed spinach was pretty good. I als hate that I have to walk out of the restaurant and around to go the restroom.

That sucks. Never been to the one in Vegas, but the bone-in ribeye at the Houston location is up there as one of the best steaks I've had.

Had the opposite experience when I went. Food was very good and the waiter did a good job.

Did you expect speedy service in a pricey steakhouse?

I had one of the best steaks I have ever had at the Houston location and service was phenomenal - we went for our anniversary last year.

Give them time. They'll come around. It's part of the Landry Group and they own quite a few top notch restaurants.

As a matter of fact, you should write to their home office. I'm quite sure they would love to hear your comments and will more than likely do something to make it right.

Was going to come in an echo this. Almost any time I've ever submitted a formal complaint to a restaurant I've just about always gotten some sort of certificate in the mail. And one to V&A's sounds pretty damn good

Should've just stayed home and grilled on the primo, reverse sear style.

Please show me where I complained about speed. I complained about attentiveness. A female at the table should not have to ask for bread twice.

I am not interested in free stuff. This was for a friend's birthday so we will not be making it part of our regular rotation.

Did this last night to make up for the night before.

That's a shame. I had a great meal at that location recently.

I will say this though. Everyone else at the table had filet and they looked great. Maybe mine was a fluke.

Ive been 2-3 times since they opened and found it to be very good. Solid upgrade on LC options.

The Houston location was top notch. We had several waiters. Really a drink guy, bread guy, crumb guy..... You know when the crumb tool comes out you are in a nice place.

Sucks OP to pay that much and not be blown away.... Or just blown.

A sear-less gray steak is absolutely unacceptable though. I rarely send things back, but that would have been. That's not acceptable at Outback much less Vic and Anthony's.

He must have been sick Saturday night because he was no where in sight.

I echo the sentiment that the one in Houston is top notch. For those prices, service and food should be excellent.

I haven't been to Vic & Anthony's in Lake Charles, but I have been to the one in Houston.

We were in town for LSU baseball at the Minute Maid Classic in March.

Mine was about 7.5/10. Good flavor, well seared, but too much fat/gristle for $68. Brussels sprouts needed more sear, too.

Service was 10/10!

There was an hour wait, but we were willing to sit at the bar so they sat us immediately.

We had LSU gear on, naturally, and everyone could not have been friendlier or more accomodating. The crumb guy was on duty and had his A-game going.

There was also a waiter from New Orleans who relocated after Katrina. He wasn't working our area, but he came over several times just to talk LSU and Saints. Maybe he worked at the Chalmette location of Vic & Antnee's.

How was the lobster?

Also... no booze to wash it all down?

That's usually where I eat when I go downtown in Vegas. Never had an issue before.
