I always have a bag of sunflower seeds for long hauls. If I start to feel groggy, a steady supply of seeds will push me indefinitely. I hate stopping for food, but if I'm absolutely famished I'll splurge on beef jerky (and it always feels like a splurge, that stuff is high dollar shite). Gatorade.

But seeds. Mostly just seeds.

I travel a lot via car for work and am always in small Texas towns

This is a daily staple for me. It's tough staying healthy when you get to charge anything to the company card at a gas station.

My staples, however are

Beef jerky
Protein bar
Muscle milk
Coke zero or diet snapper half and half
Bottle of water for the car

Always a pack a gum- orbit sweet mint
