you have obviously never been anywhere in your entire life if you think parlay's deserves to even be mentioned in this thread

Agreed. It's a young crowd that's slightly douchey. IT doesn't hold a candle to most the places named here.

You serious? I agree with him. For a bar Parlays isnt even close to trashy. A bunch of collared shirt wearing college grads is their main clientele

Was not serious. Thought it was funny to see someone actually defend a bar in this thread.

I dont think he was defending it per se, I think he was just pointing out how mentioning it in this thread is ridiculous

Parlay's isn't even close to being trashy. It's a local neighborhood bar full of yuppies.

I was only joking.... it seemed funny that a guy was defending (per se) a bar in this thread.

And Ive got nothing against Tulane grad yuppies.

I used to frequent the Swing Club in Sun. Long since vanished from the scene.

You're right. I guess I confused trashy with douchey.

The Wild Kingdom in Plaquemine. Brought the GM of the Gold Club with me. It was entertaining to say the least.

Does anyone remember the Bamboo Lounge aka Big Ernies on Choctaw in the mid 1970s?

Was that the strip club around Acadiana Mall where all the dancers wore huge pasties that were shaped like lips? I mean HUGE pasties - the size of a compact disc.

I probably worked in said bar. Delirious? I worked there for almost 3 years while I was in school.

Delirious sounds like a good name for it. We walked in around 10 say multiple fights. It was a rap show that night. Mostly gelled up hair late twenty Ronnies grinding on 18 year old girls

Nothing beats watching the bartender at Ms Mae's eating cold spaghettio's out of a can.
