The one thing you could say about Oliver is that he did represent his constituents. I like him personally. Can't believe he did something as silly and as cheaply as he did.

On the bright side we won't have to see Popeyes trash all over the street anymore. Them and Smashburgers customer base sure likes to throw their trash on the ground.

For some reason, though, it seemed to me that it had gotten better in recent years. Regardless, I'm sad to see the place go. It was within easy walking distance.

I'll drive over to Claiborne once a blue moon for my fix if it means I won't have to see chicken bones on the sidewalk. I really hope a good local place takes over. It seems like something is in the works with how fast they started ripping the place apart and adding fresh paint. It's a sign that the demographics have changed especially on my side of the tracks.
