I know them. Hunted with Leroy (Larry) for several years. Cool cats...

Mrs. Drake's Ham and Potato Salad Sandwiches
Blue Plate BBQ Sauce (I know it's still available in bulk, but I want it in the grocery store)

Anybody remember the pizza that cooked in the toaster?
Or how about toaster hash browns?

There are still a few Danny's Fried Chickens around Louisiana, just not Baton Rouge. Several friends worked there during high school at the Drusilla location which was prior to that Bonaparte's Fried Chicken.

Thanks. Thought Danny's were long gone. Looks like they're in Franklin, Houma, and Morgan City. Wonder if the onion rings are still as good.

Yes they were! Sadly not many remember them anymore. I think strawberry were my favorite. And they were made by Kellogg's.

Anybody remember the Luther's BBQ chain back in the 80s? Not sure where it originated, but it was in NOLA. I loved that shite as a kid, probably would hate it now.

It did that to me when I changed the android font to larger than normal. Try changing to a smaller font. I'm not sure if that is fixable.

Friends and family always loved the chicken, but I don't remember - I just went there for those onion rings/strings. This was many years ago so would love to know if anyone has eaten at a Danny's lately and how it is now.

tahts where i'm at as well..i just hate to have to change the font size just for this app.

the dev should be able to 'space out' those text containers in the app to provide space for larger text.

in fact, i think there's a java control checkbox you can use to 'auto grow' that field size.

We didn't code directly in java. We used MIT's App Inventor. It's not as flexible.

I do know the Luther's BBQ in Baton Rouge was opened and owned by Edwin Edwards.

And the Blue Plate BBQ sauce in bulk is also concentrate so it makes a bunch.
