It's Tuesday. Shouldn't you be cooking on a Tuesday woman?

Nope don't really cook that much anymore during the week. Besides this place has become our home away from home!

Went to this place a few weeks ago. Mixed experience.

I got the Eggplant Parmesan, which was very good for a traditional Italian dish. I enjoyed it. One of the better that I have had in the area. Also, the sensation salad that came with it was notably good and green. Definitely not one of those throwaway side salads that many restaurants give you.

My wife got the Ahi Tuna Salad, which was disappointing for her. The tuna was cooked fine and the dressing was up to par, but the mixed greens it was served on turned out to be primarily composed on iceberg lettuce. No good. She's an ahi tuna snob and this was affront to her taste and decency.

Other comments: The service was kind of clumsy. The decor and ambiance could use a little work. The beer list was shite, but that didn't shock me. I will definitely be back though to try their happy hour on Friday evening, which I believe is half off apps and beers and goes until 7 (which is key).

Overall, if your in the area, I'd recommend trying this place. The pricing is definitely a plus. I think our total bill was around $32 and we each had a drink. Not bad.

Me and the Mrs. went this past Saturday.
Started with the Artichokes and crab meat.
A little stingy with the crab meat.
She had the Seafood Macaroni, shrimp and lump crabmeat with bowtie pasta in a cream sauce.
I had the Seafood Diablo, shrimp, crawfish and crabmeat in a tomato sauce. Both dishes were good, I ended up finishing off my wife's.
Finished with Cannoli.
Only complaint was the only bread offered was the Marino bread.
Business seemed slow for a Saturday evening but we were early and they filled up nicely by the time we were done.
I don't care for the tv in the dining area.

My wife went with a group of teachers and she raved about it (but Olive Garden is her favorite restaurant ).

Don't know, but she put some work in on this thread. She's either owner or mother of owner or some how affiliated.

At first I bought this was mom1 randomly bumping this thread.

We went with my wife's family to check it out one Sunday but they were closed. Wondered why a "family style" restaurant would be closed all day Sunday. One of my friends plays live music for dollar martini night, so I might give it a go soon but it's really not high on my priority list.

I saw that they're doing boiled crawfish. Never seen an Italian place do this before. He boiled some good crawfish at the produce stand but I figure it's just another way to attract more business. Pretty strange approach and makes it seems like they're hurting for additional customers.

I've been meaning to check out this place, but it is often forgot about by us when we go on our search for a restaurant on the weekend.

The retail spot their in is absolutely terrible and a death trap for restaurants.

My wife and I went a couple weeks ago. We pretty much eat the same things everytime we go but we tried the Marino bread and dozen grilled oysters. Good food, my wife especially likes the Italian margaritas.
