It is this Friday afternoon and all day Saturday at Lamar Dixon. They have 2 preliminary heats, one at 1:00 Friday and the other at 6:00 AM Saturday, then the finals start at 1:00 Saturday.

$150 donation to Cystic Fibrous foundation to enter and they supply all ingredients except for seasoning.

I do not think it is too late , call 769-9994 for info

should be a good time, all cooking is done under the pavilions, you can back your truck right up to your cooking spot

Yes, Yes

The Jambalaya cooking contest is just a small part of the festival, actually it is an ingenious way of catering, people pay to cook food for them to sell

I'm cooking Saturday. Lighting the burner at 6. This'll be my 3rd year. This is my favorite contest by far.

For those that asked, it's not too late to sign up.
