Went there for a late lunch today wile I was in New Orleans on business. The BBQ shrimp and grits was a special, today, but I told the waiter to hold the grits because I'm doing a low carb diet. I said to just give me a salad instead of grits.

So when he served it, I had a great big plate of garden salad, with BBQ shrimp on top, with the salad floating in the BBQ sauce!

What a maroon!

Of course they took it back.

I can only imagine the order

"Can I substitute the grits for green salad?"

"You still want the cholesterol laden shrimp drowned in butter and cream?"

"Oh yes, just watching my diet!"

*fricking retard*

"Why did you put the salad in place of my grits?!?"

"Do you know what substitute means? Never mind, you are the guy eating healthy with BBQ Shrimp, should have known."

Give me a glass of ice water, no ice.

If there is ice in the glass, I will send it back.

Did you ask for the salad on the side? If not, I can imagine what the people in the kitchen were saying when the waiter told them someone wanted to sub a salad for the grits.
