Sure I have, slow service, sat a table top for 2, lotta attitude from a hungover server.. Had their margherita pizza $16 and caesar $8, wife had their shrimp diavolo $20.. We didn't finish it and we didn't even box it up, lacked flavor and poor execution. I am not exaggerating and the prices are way out of line, lunch with tip was $53-$55... But I get it they are a small restaurant and need to turnover tables so the prices need to be higher. I have no problem paying for great service and just ok food, but they lacked both.

There is a bank directly across the street that will close at 5 or 6 every night. Any overflow parking can go there (unless they go the route of Investar by Rum House)

Yeh the perfect time to be walking across Jefferson without a crosswalk.

how has this thread gone on for 5 pages without one response from someone who's been to Stab's Central to talk about whatever experience they had there?

I only ate at the Central location once and it was for lunch in a large group. I can't recall the specifics other than everyone was pleased with the food, service was very good, particularly for a large group. Nice atmosphere, neat patio area.

I've been to Stab's in Central a few times--maybe 2 times at lunch and 3 times at dinner and never had a bad experience. Good food and good service each time. I would go more often if it wasn't so far from 70808. I am looking forward to trying out the new location.

They have a gate that opens into the back of Bocage Raquet Club for employee parking and valet so they don't have to get out on Jefferson.

And there is plenty of other parking. I just left there.

don't bother
the restaurant industry consultants here have already decided that location is apocalyptic and should be burned and salted

why investors and businessmen don't check with the FDB first on these matters continues to baffle me
