it makes no sense to compare these. Two very different hot sauces that don't really compliment the same types of foods.
Actually, they can be use for similar purposes. You can use them is pizzas, fries, burgers, po boys, fried and grilled seafoods, beef, chicken, bloody mary, soups, grilled vegetables, marinates, eggs, bacons, bbqs, ....

For some reason I really dislike Tobasco. Louisiana is the main one I use.

It depends on whether you like a Granny Smith Apple or a Valencia Orange.

I like the taste of sriracha, but it is just not as useful as tabasco. Tabasco's such a simple flavor that its application is damn near universal. And while I generally prefer putting crystal on an end product, tabasco is more useful for cooking with. The flavors thicker or something, and definitely hotter, its mandatory for any soup and crystal doesnt cut it.
Sriracha has got so much going on in it that it can hurt a dish if the chemistry aint right.
Pretty much everything goes with red pepper, so tabasco wins!!!

This.
Tabasco seems to take over what ever it is added to.

Yeah, I agree. I guess I meant to say is that it's like comparing Ketchup to Mustard. They both can go on burgers and other things, but it doesn't really make sense to compare.
