Okra is delicious. People that say it is slimy don't know what the frick they are talking about. Oil in pan , get hot, add circular sliced okra, leave alone to brown , then flip. Season to taste.

Got to give it time to do its thing.

I cook mine on medium heat, and don't add water. I do add rotel though, and another key for me is to leave the top off and stir occasionally. It will smother down to practically no liquid/slime at all.

Same. Especially if it has a nice crispy outer crust from the grill. I've been known to turn a steak sideways and just let the flames lick around the edges of the fat for a bit before I pull.
