Pulled Pork Sliders - $9.50 - Shank Charcuterie

Dirty Mac and Cheese (Gouda) with Crawfish and Andouille - $8 - Dirty Dishes

Crab Cake with Poblano Aioli, New Potato Hash and Broiled Cherry Tomatoes - $10 - Elysian Seafood

Strawberry Cheesecake Crepe - $7 - Dirty Dishes

All were delicious, particularly the Crab Cake.

That all looks really good ... that pickled okra sticks out like a sore thumb though ... seems like it's almost a "fad garnish" as of late that a lot of cats are using as if adding one to the plate instantly makes a dish "authentically Louisiana"... almost like they're trying too hard.

I had some Nigerian cowfoot dish when I went..flavor was pretty good but the gelatinous content of the 'meat' turned me off. Also had an oyster trey of east coast and west coast varieties. Not really worth the cost.

I noticed Crawfish Ceviche on one board. I had to ask about it and the guy admitted the crawfish was, in fact, cooked.

How much? They didn't have a board with the menu on it.

All I had when I went there were a beer and a cocktail since it was almost closing time; both were pretty good. I plan on going back there soon and trying some food.

$9.50 for pulled pork sliders on king's Hawaiian rolls with no appearance of a slaw.....simply criminal

Gotta agree that $9.50 for those sliders seems steep.

Something like 22 for 9 oysters and the west coast ones were a joke. The shucker hooked me up with some extras though

And I just realized: one single crab cake for $10? Maybe in a white tablecloth, sit down place.

I agree, but it actually would have been at home in a white tablecloth, sit down place. It was that good.

My girlfriend and I went this Friday...had a dozen of their west coast varieties, a glass of wine and a cocktail-damn near 70 dollars.

I wanted to break a window or two myself on my way out.

Food looks solid but I now see what had the gutter punks so pissy.

A dozen west coast, so the rough equivalent to one gulf oyster

Pretty much.

Even the gulf coast oysters were high, 16 bucks a dozen right now is dumb. I can get them for 7 a doz in Houston at the moment.

Crab cake looks good. Crepe does too but also not browned enough. Sliders look like a ripoff.

Most Pappas outposts have some oyster special going on right now. Little Pappas on Shepherd by my house had blue points for 9 and Gulf oysters for 7 last week.
