Smoothest Coffee Suggestions

I usually drink a cup of regular or iced coffee after dinner and would love to know some reasonably priced smooth coffee brands. I'm not hardcore and into really really dark roasts or espresso, but I do like a full bodied coffee.
I've been buying Dunkin Donuts KCups and grounds, it seems ok but I figure there's alot smoother out there.
Also, I'm not big on Starbucks, always seemed over roatsed and slightly burnt to me.

"Hardcore" coffee drinkers generally don't drink dark roasts because you lose most of the character of the particular bean. Just figured I'd toss that out there.

Brew with filtered water and add a smidgen of sea salt. Water makes the biggest difference.
I used to buy a columbian blend out of new orleans. The beans were expensive and the electric grinder beat them to crap anyways.
These days I buy Community dark roast beans and use a hand grinder.
I use my french press if relaxing, but I bought a small Mr. Coffee auto drip pot recently. After about 3lbs of coffee, I finally have the ratios perfect. 3 large tablespoons of coffee for 16.9 oz of water. Small pinch of sea salt.
I like being pretentious as much as the next guy, but a well brewed cup with filtered water is 75% of the battle.

Sorry, like I said, I'm not a coffee connoisseur, I'm just looking for a damn smooth, good kind of coffee for a reasonable price.

Britt coffee from Costa Rica has been our go-to once we found it on Amazon Prime. When we visited Costa Rica, we noticed how smooth the coffee was and bought a bunch to bring home. It was a sad day when it ran out. On a whim, I checked Amazon, and they sell it for the same price and offer subscribe and save.

If you already have a k-cup brewer, doing your own k-cups are the way to go. I found the Perfect Pod E-Z Cup brewing system with disposable paper filters are great. You can choose whatever coffee you want and switch up until you find the one you prefer. I find the refillable cups and paper filters at Bed, Bath, and Beyond but you can also order them from Amazon. They are definitely worth it as your price of coffee goes from around 75 cents for store bought k-cups to around 20 cents for the refillable k-cups. Plus you have a greaer selection of ground coffee you can try.
I use River Road Coffee Creole Blend in my Keurig. Excellent local coffee, much smoother and less bitter than Community Dark, which I was raised on. As stated above, only use filtered water in your coffee maker, it really does make a huge difference.

A pinch of salt in the grinds will take the edge off your perception of bitterness and make the brew seem smoother.

Anything from Cafeciteaux is very smooth with zero bitterness. However it's not cheap.

Cafe Britt from Amazon
Available in whole bean or ground. I have been getting them on the Subscribe and Save program and they have always been freshly dated.

This is why we don't like you people at Starbucks. Coffee connoisseurs like a Quad Espresso with only Arabica beans. In a large cup. Steamed non fat milk. Foam. Leave 1/2 inch free at top. One packet of brown sugar stirred in. And that's not the little packet for coffee. I want the big packet for my oatmeal. But I don't use it for oatmeal. Way too sweet after the dried fruit, vanilla and cinnamon.

Very underrated brand and all I drink. Orleans Supreme for me but I enjoy their dark roast also. None of the burnt flavor like Community or Starbucks.

I have one of those reusable k cup things, but it's not a great one, just the plastic and mesh kind. I'll have to get one of the good ones with the filters. It really is a massive money saver as the KCups have really gotten out of hand price wise. I'm was paying almost $1/cup of Dunkin Donuts. I've since bought a bag of McCafe Premium roast and it's not bad, a little bolder than the Dunkin. I'll also have to try that Costa Rican Britt other posters have mentioned.
I also read on some site about about Kauai Estate Reserve was supposed to be very very smooth and good, anybody had it?

I drank a few different brews while in Hawaii, all were very good. Ordered some when I got back home and it just wasn't the same. I'm sure the coffee on the island is many weeks fresher than ordering from the states.

Have you tried cold brewing?
I love it.
I love it.
