Man, talk about fall down a rabbit hole. 95% of the one star reviews are definitely connected and they are some interesting characters. Anyone ever heard of Z.E.R.T. ?

The restaurant is a little far for me but I am going to make an effort to give it a try.

Seems they opened with limited trained staff on short notice--not much knowledge of the menu.
It almost sounds as if the owner had made up his mind to open whether the staff was ready or not. You don't get a second chance to make a first impression. Maybe doing dinner only and not jumping into lunch right away could have avoided some of these issues with untrained staff. I have not heard enough good to convince me to walk through the doors yet.

The holder of the mortgage might have something to do with opening date. Money dictates a lot of things and ready or not here it is.

Went tonight and I think my experience matches some that I've seen here. It didn't look too promising that it's Friday night and the restaurant wasn't even half full.

It was 8:30 and we were told the wait would be 45 minutes so we asked if the bar tables were first come first serve and we sat down to eat. Then we were told that it would be 20-25 minutes for our entrees.

It doesn't seem like anyone who works there has any experience working in food service though I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt as it's still early on. Just the way everyone from the management to the waitstaff seemed awkward and unsure of themselves.

That being said, the food was excellent. We didn't sample any appetizers but my wife and I both got the Cowboy Burger and it was very good. Nice tasty and honestly very well cooked burger patty. The BBQ sauce and bacon were a nice compliment as well. Fries were a hit with the whole family, loved the crisp.

None of the above will discourage me from going back though I know some people have higher expectations of a restaurant like that than I do.

I had a burger there at lunch today. Second burger I've had at Sliders and it was very good. Handmade patty and well seasoned. I sat in the bar and the service was good.

My review. Went last Wednesday about halfway through game 2 at Notre Dame. Was being escorted to a table and changed our mind to go sit in the bar area. Prompt drink order taken by our waiter Josh(plan on putting in a good word for him with Tim next time I go thee). Had the fried green bean app. Came up piping hot, no delay, and really good. Entrees took a little longer than they should have to get to us. Wife had the cheeseburger sliders with steamed vegies. She said it was pretty good. They serve a country fried steak with queso, onions and peppers. Something different so I went with it. Not a big portion as you usually see with this type dish but pretty good. BBQ beans and mashed potatoes as side. Beans were not good at all. Potatoes were good with some skin mixed in. One posted mentioned the bar size. It's smaller than Sammy's, but not by much. He must have been drinking there because there are plenty more bar stools than 4 and probably about 10 high top tables. Our server informed us that this was a "soft" opening and that they had live music planned coming shortly. Also, trivia and poker like BWW. I'm hoping they make it. Very close to my house.

Very similar experience this week. The girl working the bar area is really good but the rest of the crew looks lost. We had a bad cueso to start with stale chips. When entries arrived we were asked to make room on the table to put them down...... Burger was good, grilled fish not so much. I know owner personally and he has an uphill climb to make a dime with this place. He has plenty of fast food operating experience but no hands-on managing the front and back and it shows greatly.

About 10 bar stools and maybe 7 tables in the bar.
I've stopped in a couple of times. Definitely not as large as Sammy's bar area.

I'll hit the place up occasionally during baseball season for Envie and streaming games. I'm yet to try the food although I did unwrap two pieces of silverware to clean up some spilled beer and the both sets of silveware were filthy...That's just a sign of employees not GAF.

Silverware was clean. Food, drinks and service was great. I guess they worked out the kinks.

Ate there again today. Service was much better. Had the buffalo wings and the brisket plate. Both were pretty damn good. Even my steamed veggies were perfectly cooked.

Had a pretty good lunch crowd.

Yeah I think they're turning this place around. Fried pickles were very good as well.

I went last week. Service was good and the staff was very friendly. The food was disappointing. I ordered the Cowboy Burger. The patty was good, but they went very cheap on the other ingredients on the burger. The bacon was the paper-thin microwaveable type and the bun was similar to great value brand at Wal Mart.

This place has potential, but a ways to go with food quality. I think they should cut down the menu (way too many options) and focus on improving signature dishes.

I might give it another try if it's still around in a few months, but I have no desire to go back anytime soon.

Try again. It was 9 pages of people commenting on the reviews of the place on facebook as well as reviews in between.

I like the place and I like the owner. Hopefully they continue to trend in an upward direction and can find a staff that wants the place to do well, get a more focused menu, and find a better gauge of what their clientele want to drink.

Disagree with all of this. I thought the cowboy burger was outstanding.

I know it's tough to distinguish the difference, but it's just like this diatribe wouldn't be classified as "reviews" of the place.

Hopefully this helps.

It's a frickin sports bar. They have burgers, fried food apps, draft beer and TVs. It doesn't warrant 9 pages of talk. I don't need to use the zomato app before hitting a sports bar.
