Going in a few weeks and want to get a list together in case we need a reservation or something.

Doesn't matter too much where, the city doesn't look that hard to get around.

Also spending a couple days in Vancouver, near West End/English Bay so any help there would be nice.

Went to Seattle for the LSU/UW game back in 2009. Had some Washington relatives take me to these places and they were all pretty good. Not sure if they are still open or the quality now. Hopefully some locals can provide some more information.

We had a good dinner at Sitka and Spruce. Its located in a building with several other "artisanal" shops (butchers, wine bar, coffee bar, etc), so it was just a nice evening hanging out there

Wild Ginger was also fantastic for asian

I had some of the best oysters I've ever had at The Walrus and the Carpenter.

Salumi is a really solid spot.

Quinn's Gastropub as well.

It has been years since I've been to Seattle though... I'm sure there are all sorts of new great places.

A buddy recommends walrus and carpenter. I just got back from there last night. It has been very dry and warm. Rainier was in almost full view for the two days that I was there.

It's been a long time, but I enjoyed Stepho's and The Keg in Vancouver. I also liked Nikko's, but I think they're closed now.

There's was also a walk up crepe place on Robson St. that was pretty good. Can't remember the name of it though.

Elliot's Oyster House on the water is one of my favorite restaurants I've ever been to...also, grab some fresh off the boat smoked salmon at pike place market
