It's good.....you'll enjoy.

4LSU2 insisted they served him the barnyard pimp one evening instead of duck. He demanded Roberto come out to ensure he had duck.

Everything on the menu is delicious. I strongly recommend the crab cakes as an appetizer.

I'm really curious to see what you thought. Roberto's is typically pretty damned good and I'm wondering if they cut corners for the rush.

I was fully prepared for a shitshow, but they had it squared away tight
good food and phenomenal service

apps wer eggplant crab cakes, duck confit egg rolls, BBQ shrimp over grit cakes
after salads the entrees were fish in parchment, steak with crabmeat, veal piccata with crabmeat and a flounder roulade with scallops and aroncini. Everything was great especially the sauces

dessert and coffe plus cocktails $350 for six people wasn't bad at all

very pleasant dining and the moms were happy

two thumbs up

Eggplant crab cakes sound good. Sort of like a fried seafood stuffed eggplant. I love stuffed eggplant.

It has been inconsistent for me, some really stellar meals, followed by some real sub par ones, unfortunately the two times i brought guests with us after bragging about how good it was turned in to being off nights, glad y'all had a great meal may be time for me to give them another shot

What I find curious, is that Robertos states on their website that they are closed on Sunday.

Also, if you Google Robertos, if you look to the right, where it lists the hours, it reads: Closed today.

I guess they could have made an exception but failed to put it on the internet. I don't know. I didn't go there today.

Funny you should mention that. My pregnant wife was craving a Frostop root beer float today. Likewise, Google said Frostop is closed Sunday. However, so desperate was she for this damn root beer we drove down there just in case. And lo and behold to our shock and elation, it was open. So I don't know what Google's deal is with listing open BR restaurants as closed on Sunday but apparently it is an epidemic.

Well, their website says "Closed on Sunday." If they were open on Mother's Day, and I understand why they would be, wouldn't take much to put that on their website. But, who am I? Just some lowly consumer who always searches for options....

Roberto's is typically closed on Sundays and I want to say Mondays as well. But he often does lunch/brunch on special occasions like Mother's Day.
