All of those "No tater tots on our menu, Sir" places

Excuse Me

I like Chili's Chips and salsa. Their beer is cold too. Cold beer with decent chips and salsa isn't a bad hour or two for me

Red Lobster has an OK Lobster Pizza and the coldest Caesar Salad in town. If I wind up there, that is what I have. Their cheddar biscuits are first rate. RL is not a go to place for us

Outback has a burger that is OK and a seared Tuna Appetizer (I think - might be someone else - haven't been there in a while). When I think Steak, I never think Outback.

Olive Garden is a poor excuse for Italian food, which we do at home better than most restaurants I know. Would not go there

Applebees is a poor food choice across the board.
Would not go there.

Never been to a Red Lobster

Outback gets the top because the service has been pretty good every time I've gone. The food is decent. Not mind blowing but ok.

Same with Chili's although they're usually short staffed and you end up waiting a while just to get drink orders.

I'd guess that very few posters on this board are big fans of any of these establishments, much less patronize them with any regularity. However, I'm not sure why this thread seems to aggravate you so much. Yeah, it's a silly thread... I guess I didn't know this was such a serious message board.

I am curious as to why someone who patronizes these places reads a food board? Food quality is obviously not a priority.

Just wondering.

You ever been to Franklin VA? Well if you ever are there you will most likely patronize an Applebee's. Unless you choose to dine at McDonald's or Arby's. In Pine Bluff AR it's Red Lobster or Taco Bell. I've been to places where Ive been almost giddy to see a Chili's. Looking at you Gadsden AL. I dont think anybody is touting any of these gar holes as quality food. More like necessary evils.

Your expense account wouldn't cover KFC, Mr. Balls?

Sorry Had to say it. For me, Work Road food is just an extension of daily work pain. I go in, eat and get the hell out. At the end of a 16 hour travel and work day, the window of a Taco Bell is about the same as the best restaurant in town to me and it is definitely two hours quicker.

Pretty much this, but Chili's revamped menu is a big improvement.
