Imo, Applebee's and Olive Garden are the worst

Granted it has been over 10 years since I've been to OG but I don't remember it being that bad

Outback does steaks, which aren't easy to mess up if you get the cooking time down. They are pretty solid at getting out a medium/medium rare steak. Obviously you're not gonna get a true medium rare there but they get close.

My mom always gives me gift cards to these places, so I went to both applebees and outback recently..outback is much better and actually not a bad place to eat, but it's a lot more expensive, naturally. Applebees was rough and the people there were walmart-like.
Chili's isn't a bad place to get a beer if you're in a pinch or live nearby
