I may regret ever starting this thread.

I like good wings, but I don't eat them often and I'm far from a connoisseur. But I do like quality.

Just for fun I was going to pick up some wings this afternoon to bring home for dinner with my wife. Bourre' came to mind. I hear good things about Blue Oak, but will it be a hassle to go in just for the wings around 4pm or so? Any other suggestions?

Thanks.

Don't frick with me Wise.

Don't think you even have to go inside, can order through a window.

Came out pretty quick when we ordered at that time.

Wings at NOLA are pretty good, but I know you can't go there.

Blue Oak is baller. I think Blue Oak is a hassle period, but you shouldn't have issues, I wouldn't think.

Carrabba's is running a special today and tomorrow only, 24 wings for 20 bucks. Done in their wood-fired ovens.

They should've just utilized their food truck for Bourre.

I just tried it, and they are really good wings. They aren't oversized, pumped up full of God knows what chemicals. I like their sauce choices as well. But, they are expensive and the atmosphere in there sucks.

Bayou Hot wings are good and not much of a hassle. That sounds like what you want.
