Depends on your body, current diet, training structure, etc. On a low carb diet, protein becomes secondary source of energy and used to repair muscle breakdown. Hell, some body builders are taking in 300/day
quote: anyone ever do Advocare? I'm almost sold on the 24 day challenge
I'm actually going to start the week after Mardi Gras. At least I should be. Trying different methods of cutting so figured I'd give this a shot. I've seen/heard great results from females. I've only seen a few results on males. But all look good. The key is maintaining it after the 24 days
My thoughts on Advocare: - All supplements provided to you, can be purchased on your own. I highly doubt they have secret recipe's in their stuff. - Works best for people who can't do a structured "diet", or eating habit on their own as well as hit the gym hard.
Essentially, if I were to cut out all carbs and eat a high protein, low but healthy fat diet, then I would lose a ton of fat too. (I did this a few months ago)
But all in all I support this. Spending a good bit of money on products is what finally kicked my arse to getting in shape. I'm curious/excited to see the results.
