Prepped Burger Patties last night around 10pm. Put in tinfoil and on a cookie sheet, then left in the fridge over night. Going to cook in a couple hours. How long can prepped raw patties be left like this?

Just to make sure I dont have to make a new batch to be safe.

You're fine.

If this worries you, don't eat hamburgers at a restaurant.

I don't see what the problem is, not like you left them out all night.

I would bring them to room temp before throwing them on.

You're worried about burgers left in the fridge for a little over 12 hours? Was the fridge plugged in and working when you put them in?

You are good to go. They should hold covered in plastic wrap at refrigerator temp for two days with no problems.

Longer than that, I'd throw them in the freezer to be safe.

Cook them straight from the fridge onto the grill.

Not possible to do safely. It would take hours to get to room temp. It's one of the myths everyone (including me) bought into for a long time.

Put your meat on whenever you want. Leaving it out a half hour won't come anywhere close to room temp.

FWIW Wendy's gets all there patties in refrigerated, not frozen. Expiration dates are about 2 weeks.

I don't use pre-packaged patties. Too dense. Too each their own. I would assume the longer they sit, the more dense and dry they become. Wouldn't cook long
