Looking for new ideas and of course only want the best of the best.l and also curious what your go-to is when you can have anything you want.

Try to keep the suggestions within reason.. No pleasant under glass or 16oz black truffles.

Eta meal rather than dish so I can be lazy and not have to think of sides.

Pot of fresh squirrels, not frozen.
Cooked to perfection. Preferably by my brother.
Pot of blue runner northerners with smoked tasso and jalapenos.
A lil fresh cucumber and maters in vinegar, salt and pepper.
Wash it down with a glass of Blantons on the rocks!

This has been my requested birthday meal ever since I've been old enough to request a birthday meal.

Is this a my favorite to cook thread or a my favorite to eat thread? Both will have starkly different answers for me.

Favorite to cook: Jambalaya and white beans.

Favorite to eat: Anything someone else cooks

It changes, but right now it's pasta carbonara and a nice thick NY Strip or ribeye. Steamed veggies optional.

So many things to list. My ribeye I cooked for Father's Day topped with sautéed onions, mushrooms, and bell peppers was probably my favorite most recent meal.

I'll go with what I always considered my "death row" meal being that if I were on death row, it would be my final meal of choice.

Crawfish stew
Potato salad
Fried fish
