it's a burger patty topped w/ pimento cheese

their pimento cheese, from my estimation, is comprised of minced pimentos and melted sharp cheddar cheese.

ok yeah that is what I thought

I think we have had this discussion before, in that I don't really consider that pimento cheese

pimento cheese, to me, is a spread, not melted cheese with pimentos

I'm sure it is delicious though

I had some homemade style spread @ Old Rail Brewery in Mandeville a couple weekends ago. It was alright; they put a lot of mayo I think to give it that consistency and it just throws/dulls the flavor. I like pimento cheese to be on the spicier side.

the best Pim. Cheese sammich ive ever had is made right here in Bossier City, @ Palmetto country club.

Pim cheese, fried green tomaters, & bacon, on a delicious toasted bread of some sort.

you gotta have mayo for a binder and to make it spread, so if you hate mayo, you probably hate pimento cheese

but you can add all kinds of things to give it more flavor and textures like red onions, pickled jalepenos, bacon, mix up the cheeses, etc

and a key to a good pimento cheese sandwich is good toasted bread

Not a mayo hater. I like it on certain things, just not in abundance.

My friends just laugh at how many $1.50 PC sandwiches I woof down at the Masters practice rounds..

Hell, I just put a few in the cargo pockets for the walk or driving range.

Regularly enjoy "PBLT on P" sandwiches from a restaurant near my house...

"Pimento, Bacon, Lettuce, Fried Green Tomato on Pita"

Here in GA you can buy fresh pimento made in Pawleys Island, SC. Best I've ever had.

A pimento cheese sandwich with some fried chicken. Is that legal?

Now I've got to call my mother and tell her I love her. She used lots of black pepper.

I love pimento cheese. I've bought the Palmetto brand original and with peppers quite a few times. It's a very good product.
