this place used to have a pretty good hamburger. It had been a year or two since I last went, so I stopped by yesterday and ordered a burger and it was terrible. Maybe the worst burger I have ever eaten. How could you buy a restaurant and frick up the one thing that they did good?

they deserve to go out of business. the cheapest pack of beef heart burgers out of the freezer at walmart tastes better than what they are serving now.

Was this place ever popular? I lived in Lafayette back in 2003 and never set foot in there.

It was in the 80's.

New owners. I haven't been there since they reopened. I would find myself there on a couple of football Sundays just to have NFL viewing options. The burger at the time was enjoyable.

I had a burger there about a month ago and didn't notice any difference.

We used to go routinely about 10 years ago. We lived near there, off W. Bayou. Wednesday night $2 big Pete, or whatever... kids could run around a play the vidiot games, pitcher of beer... good weeknight dinner.

I moved away for a bit, and am back in town. I'm surprised new ownership is putting out shitty product, if true. Isn't it the Krampe's (Social, Charley G's, all the Mickey D's). It seems like they could do a sports bar.
