Why are you using that nasty shite when it's so easy to make your own curry?

I don't think I've tried any of their products and liked the result

I was sitting around thinking "what would be something really awful I could have tonight?" and that is what came to mind.

My question too.

I have doctored up a couple of their sauces and they were pretty good.

+1

I like to use it as a base and integrate fresh spices to make my curry dishes.

My problem is that it was soooooo sweet. The flavor wasn't terrible, but the sweetness was overwhelming.

I'd be interested in how y'all upgraded it.

I have yet to try a premade curry sauce outside of Australia that tasted good.

I've used the hot curry paste and the vindaloo paste successfully in a red lentil curry, but not their sauces.

Not a fan of the Patak's stuff, but if you can get the Sukhi's brand sauce mix, it is a superior product. LINK /
The Sukhi's frozen naanwiches and potato samosas are good, too.

Actually is damn good. Eating leftovers of it now.

If you have curry powder, canned coconut milk, tomato paste, a few spices (powdered ginger, cayenne pepper), a crock pot, some vegetables and chicken, you've got about all you need to make curry.

That kind I can make. I'm not sure about some of the Indian curries.

I like their Tikka Masala simmer sauce for a quick chicken dinner...homemade would probably be better, but on a weeknight ain't nobody got time for that
