Planning a trip in a few months, probably March, and its been a couple years since I've been. The wife has never been so I want to show her a great time. Im looking for places for breakfast and lunch. I already have a few dinner recommendations i plan on trying. Staying in Times Square and prefer not to leave the city just to eat. Anywhere from Central Park to Battery Park is fine.

Thanks

There is a pizza joint on 46th I believe, between 7th and 8th. It's called patzeria. I'll double check to make sure.

Go get whatever catches your eye but make sure you get a slice of grandma's pizza. It's freaking amazing.

Yep, that's where it is. Technically between 7th and Braodway but Braodway is so close to 7th at that point you'll see what I mean.

Also if you get the urge for some southern grab and a southern bar vibe, go to brother jimmy's.

I went to one on the UES, same story. As far as breakfast and lunch places: Bowery dinner or Sara Beth's, Joe Allen are all good places.

My favorite breakfast place is EJ's but it's not that close to where you're staying it's on 3rd And 73rd.

Like old baseball/yankee nastalgia, go to Mickey Mantles.

I ate at Mantles last time I went. I remember it was good but don't know what I got.

For breakfast I'd prefer to stay near Times Square near the hotel but I don't mind hopping on the subway to go somewhere else. For lunch ill be all over the place so anywhere is fine. Plan to spend a day around Central Park area, a day on the south end near Ground Zero, Wall St, Chinatown, etc. probably another day in between and the rest doing whatever we feel like trying.

I like this place, too.. Amazing fries with that burger.. At dinner time, they serve a Scottish egg.. Really good.. But they can make it during lunch if you ask them nicely.
