Goes without saying. July 13th is the call, bro.

Finals of the WC and one day before my birthday.

Well, I know that, holmes. I've been keeping up and enjoying it.

So you're non-existent on Saturday?

I went to Finns tonight for a few beers and didn't see you.

Forgot you have to be home before sundown. My mistake.

Sunday, Argentina is kaput!

Le Bon Temps

One of my favorite early morning neighborhood spots. My go to for early morning Jameson. Much better than Mae's and Brothers 3.

Another great one. got shite housed in there during Isaac. No power but they were still open. I remember b/c of the curfew they had to do a last call.

Le bon temps actually has a decent beer selection. I drank a rebel IPA there last week and also had a green flash DIPA last month. I chose Maes for thirsty Thursdays & proximity.

.3 miles vs 1 minute. Plus I don't wanna get shot walking past come-n-go.

really? i just don't see the allure of the place aside from killer po boys in the back

Maybe it is because I don't live in New Orleans, but I like the Erin Rose. The NOLA.com criteria for the top ten bars excluded places that feature live music and dancing and food being the focal point of the establishment. To me, it is a dive bar in the FQ that isn't trashy and doesn't cost a lot. The same bartenders are always there, and I feel like a local and not a tourist when I go in there.

Others may have favorite bars in the FQ, but if I find myself anywhere nearby I head on over to the Erin Rose. I know that it isn't anywhere near the best bar in NOLA, but it has always been a solid place for me.

Rebel IPA is terrible imo but yea LBT has a solid selection, it's impressive
