Taking the family from out of town to NOLA this weekend. I am thinking either Parkway Tavern or Killer Poboys depending on when we end up at the quarter hungry

Any other places I should be considering for poboys?

I had a Shrimp PB from Parkway a couple of weeks ago and it was fantastic. The Roast Beef there is good but it needs some salt.

Parkway and Johnny's may be the best pick for large groups. Not sure how many you're taking, back of the Erin Rose can be a little packed sometimes.

Killer poboys are not traditional po boys.

Can't go wrong with Guy's or Parkway.

i know. i know. i want to try the dark and stormy.

But, its probably not enough of an array for me to bring out of town guests to. i was actually thinking that I needed to do that on another trip with some local friends.

You could order RB from Parkway.

I personally like Mahoney's. It would give your group the opportunity to enjoy Magazine St.

I don't understand why people get the surf and turf at Parkway. Their shrimp are so damn good and the roast beef is so meh. Just ruins a good shrimp po-boy IMHO.
