Good luck trying to get into Lola's. Every time I've driven past that place or have tried to go eat there it's packed. They'll be waiting 2 hours for a table unless they go eat at 5 P.M. Hell, it's impossible for a party of 2 to get into Lola's, let alone 6 people.

I've also heard Shaya's is more cost-friendly to eat at for lunch instead of dinner and that it isn't as crazy during the daytime.

Haven't heard much about Peche lately. Is it me or does it seem like the Peche hype died down? The menu per the website seems smaller than it used to be .

You suck so bad on every board except the Rant. Your trolling there is actually welcome.

You should go back then, it's really good. Maybe that will change your opinion.

Lola's and 1000 Figs are a little bit further, but would fit the bill.

Can 1000 figs even sit a table of 6?

you can take the streetcar there.
The street cars are down for the summer, fyi. As I found out recently, New Orleans doesn't have quite the same charm without them. There just wasn't the same feel seeing buses go by.

What a drag.

I hated Tujaque's. So did the other 3 people with me. It was awful to the point that we left most of our food. I was looking forward to it. Very disappointing. It has such great history and the bar is so cool.
