latitude 29 and cellar door

Been to both with some babes and they ate it up. Latitude for daytime apps and cocktails, cellar door for nighttime atmosphere and cocktails

Barrell Proof, Bouligny Tavern, Rusty Nail are good bets for that area

She said her husband posted on here. I had no idea until now who she was talking about.

Plans have already been made.

I have not been yet. My wife went for brunch with friends and enjoyed it. She was happy with the space and drinks and 'girlier' menu items so thought it would be good for a girl's weekend.

It's pretty good and reasonably priced. I went for the soft opening a month or so ago.

My memory of it is a little blurry because they were serving free cocktails.

If they are wine drinkers I'd suggest Bacchanal (it's not Uptown though). As far as Uptown suggestions go I'd go to Bouligny Tavern or Delachaise for drinks/food.

Baru is also good if they want something different (Latin-Caribbean tapas and good drinks).

We went a couple of weeks ago. Nice people. Food is good if not mind blowing. I will go back and see what they're doing with the menu. I think they really want brunch to be a thing.

Oh, and about Bouligny Tavern, I went last Friday night and nothing happened to me. So . . . BOOM!
