i found myself licking the cast iron skillet i cooked my steak in last night.

yes, i had some wine....but those salty, meaty, pepppery carcinogens are delicious.

I really like frozen chicken pot pies and I like bologna sandwiches on white bread with mayonnaise only. It's embarrassing, but I don't really care.

Foot long coney island hot dog with chili and cheese with onions with tots with chili and cheese with a corn dog appetizer from Sonic.

I find the corn dog to act like an aperitif for the chili.

that was my papa's favorite part. he took the crunchy/burnt rice at the bottom of the pot, put it in a bowl with some milk and ate it for dessert after supper....

Some misguided souls may consider these delictable bites to be nasty...jalapeno flavored vienna sausage and sardines with green chiles....damn...wish I was in a duck blind right now!

I'll let bacon grease sit in my cast iron until it congeals. Then I take it and stuff it inside of a hamburger (kind of like a stuffed cheese burger). When you cook it, it makes an instant bacon burger.

Nasty part? I sometimes let that congealed glob sit in the fridge for weeks until I get around to making burgers for myself.

Microwave some spicy headcheese in a bowl then sop it up with french bread and eat. Great with ice- cold beer during a game.

the crispy bits that fall off fried fish, shrimp, chicken, onion rings, etc. and float around in the fryer....nothing like some brown crispy batter!

I thought I was the only corn dog at Sonic as an appetizer person.

Can't go wrong with the occasional chili, cheese and onion hot dogs.
