Went to Nor Joes, it was okay. Not enough meat on it.

They don't sell muffulettas but I always go to Crabby Jacks for a sandwich when I'm around Ochsner at lunch time.

Haven't had theirs but the rest of their menu is solid. Might have to try it next time.

Nor Joe is under new ownership and management. Haven't been since this happened.

Here's one from Nor Joe a while back.

This was my homemade version including the bread.

This one from Bosco's on 59 on the northshore.

This one is from Central Grocery

This one from Nor Joe with the olive salad on the bread per my request.

Sometimes it's not just about the amount of meats but the quality of them. From these pictures Central's has the least amout of meat but it's still a great muffaletta.
I haven't been to Nor Koe since the new owners took over but I'll try to get there soon.

Me and my boy split one. We ended up only eating a 1/4 each there. When we got home he put some extra ham, pepperoni and turkey on his and ate it. He said it was better that way.

Their poboys are so big that you can make another poboy with everything that falls out when eating it.

Not their oyster poboy. Back when that place was Louisiana Seafood Exchange, the "king" oyster poboy had about 25-30 oysters on it. When I went in October my "king" oyster had 12. It was pitiful.
