Speaking of Flemings $6 burger (which was $7 when we went), let me tell you a story.
My husband and I both ordered the burger. They come out and I take a bite, everything is good. I start to say how it is good and then look at his face and he just has this look like he is going to hurl. He spit the burger out and told me to smell the burger. It smelled like straight up shite. I am not kidding. Rotten bacteria laced meat. We sent it back and didn't so much as hear a word more from the server, a manager or the cook. No explanation, no apology for serving a shite burger, nothing. It is a shame because my burger was very good and if that had not happened we would be going back often. Their poor handling of it did not help matters. If they could have come out and explained what the issue was, we may have realized it wasn't a big deal. The only thing I could think was there must also be something wrong with my burger since I assume they make them in big batches from the same meat. Mine did not smell or taste weird but I didn't trust it.

George's on Perkins is the best burger in town

I'm not saying mooyah is the best burger ever but to say you could only take three bites before you threw it away is weak.
That's how I look at threads like this. Some places are better than others of course, but some people are simply drama queens about food.

3 bites into burger and it went in the trash. Same with Fries

He probably ate the whole thing .. but the story wouldn't have sounded as good ..

I've said it before on here. Coyote Blues makes the best burger I've had in BR. Enormous. Cooked to temp. Bacon, cheese, avocado. And comes with fries, although the frozen seasoned fries. All for a whopping $10

I am a burger snob.
Mooyah is a horrible burger. That is all for now.

We went to mooyahs when they first opened and IMO they were "alright" nothing spectacular, but alright. I'd prefer five guys Over mooyahs.
I like the family atmosphere at George's but I really think their burger is bland.
My all time favorite burger in BR is still Dixie Maid on Brookstown.

Mooyah is very average
I'm sure I'm in the minority but I still love a good Fuddruckers burger. I know it's a chain but I love their bread and that you can build your own burger.

So the burger was good and you were about to say how good it was and then all of a sudden it tastes like shite? This story sounds like bullshite

I am going to take an educated guess that her burger and his burger were made from the same batch of ground beef .. her portion and his were probably pulled from the same general area .. yet HIS was riddled with bacteria and hers was perfectly fine and she thought tasted good .. Doesn't add up ..
The kitchen at Flemings is cleaner than a hospital surgery area ..

Fleming's does run a very tight ship. It's a top notch operation.

Had Mooyah for lunch a month ago. It wasn't terrible. But it wasn't very memorable either.
I've had a better experience at Smashburger & Burgersmith.

the story just straight up sounds like bullshite.
rotten bacteria laced meat? lol.
ive been there many times for the happy hour to get the burger and it has always been great along with the service. the service is top notch even when the place is slammed and cant fit any more people in the door.
