No, but eating at it simply because they do is, but that's not what all this was even about. It started off as being a discussion of people's various palates and how they vary, and then it devolved into me being pretentious because I don't find Chili's food very appetizing. That offended people's brand affiliation and so I became pretentious, expecting Commanders Palace, comparing Chili's to Spaghetti O's taken completely out of context, and me twirling my mustache for daring to actually use the word palate on a fricking FOOD board, and other such crazy arse nonsense that wasn't even on my mind in the slightest. Many of you are emotional wrecks.

This is rich coming from the most pompous poster here. Have you read some of the nonsense you post?

Why don't you quote it and we can discuss where it's wrong.

There's a post size limit. Not like you'd agree with it anyway, even when literally everyone else tells you you're doing it.

I appreciate that.

Speaking of.. A scripture that came to me the other day...

quote:

Whatever you do, work at it wholeheartedly as though you were doing it for the Lord and not merely for people. Colossians 3:23

Does God frown upon half hearted attempts at food? Do you think He has a real appreciation for artisans in the kitchen that pour their heart into their work and cook food as if The Lord was coming to dinner, or does He think settling for mediocrity is the key?

Pray tell.

Yeah

Well, next time, instead of issuing blanket incriminations, why don't you engage me and we can see if you know as much as you think you do about me and food.

Pretty funny you whine about people putting words in your mouth then you accuse me of challenging your knowledge of food.

Back in the mid 80's chilis would have 10 cent wings at their happy hour and draft specials. I'm sure me and my college buddies spent close to 50 mil in that place so I'm glad the money is going to a good cause.

WTF? The thread is about how Chili's donated 50 million dollars to St. Jude. Had nothing to do with your "palate" until you made it so. In fact, you haven't said anything about the topic of the thread.

Anyways, troll on dude. I have to go cook food for the palates in the house.

I never said my knowledge about food.

THIS is what I said

I said what you think about me, and Food.

At no point in time did I say what you think about my knowledge of food.

See, that's how shite gets jacked up in here.

Donkey, it's a food board. Food is going to come up on a food board like sports will come up on a sports board, and politics on a political board.

So in your head, seeing how much I KNOW about food isn't question my knowledge of food? Lolz

LNCHBOX

You just took a quote of mine, omitted the words "ME, AND" which changed the meaning.

Then you forget that you were talking about my knowledge of food, and inserted your knowledge of food.

Do you think you scored here?

You proved my point.

Yeah, I knew that and he admitted it which is what I wanted. It's why I don't read any of his posts unless I do so by accident. I don't know why people fall for his posts and argue back. That's what he wants.
