I love both styles personally.

So I paid $16 a 4 pack yesterday. Worth it?

Yes, Bloom, DDH Envie, and Reve are brewery only.

Any idea if they still have any at the brewery?

Wait, the Cascades are $22? Damn, don't ever go look to buy them in Texas or Alabama. You'd really shite a brick. They're generally north of $30 a bottle when I've seen them in places around Houston and Mobile.

Here are the prices at the Barrel House here in Portland. The older vintages are $$$$, but you can get current vintages for 20 bucks.

Cascade Barrel House

Check out the tap list. Crazy good. I like the Blenders Reserve Taps on the right side...

ETA: Well worth going there. I think the small pours are around $3 each, and about the right size to drink 1/2 dozen different sours.

After 6 sours, I'm ready to walk around the corner to Loyal Legion.

Damn, wish I would have known about that place a few summers ago... was it open then?

No. It wasn't open at that time. They have an awesome taplist, though. 100% Oregon beers - nothing from out-of-state. They sell locally made sausages from Olympia Provisions...

I didn't know you were having trouble finding beer...

Let's discuss making Envie great again. Have you had any of the 11/28 batch? I hope this yeast issue gets resolved.

And get this. There are actually people in this world who like both! Amazing, isn't it? It's similar to enjoying both pizza AND tacos, because they're both fricking delicious.

Haha! No need to be a douche about it. I was simply stating my personal preference. I know a lot of people prefer the dank boozy style that this ghost is. I was just saying that I don't. This is a message board after all right? I'm allowed to write my opinions?

I had Ghost on tap in lake charles over the weekend....huge mistake after having a bottled ghost at my house the thursday before...it was dated from May of last year....so freaking delicious.

The tap ghost looked and tasted like Envie.

Sure. But this board sure likes to crap on other styles. There's no reason one can't enjoy both.
