Doesn't matter, something that's unique to Lafayette. If that makes any sense.

They have a good brunch at Saint Street Inn. The owner is a friend.
Johnson's Boucanerie is great. Try a Parrain's Special.

We had a really good brunch meal at The French Press the morning after Thanksgiving. All food was great, but the service was atrocious.

There is a pork po boy (not bbq) at Chris' Poboys on Pinhook that is awesome. Think it's called Cajun pork roast.

Eat at the Rusted Rooster on Friday during the day for breakfast or lunch.. It'll be closed on Saturday & Sunday.

If no rain, Taco Sisters for a smoked tuna taco and other deliciousness. Bring a drink of your choice and sit outside at the picnic tables.

Where are you from? My "Lafayette specific" suggestions would be different if you were from Michigan as opposed to Southern LA for instance.

Forgot to mention Pop's Po-boys Downtown.

Awesome Po-Boys IMO, better than Old Tyme
