Looking to make green smoothies...

Thinking about trying some of the green smoothies and kale shakes I've seen. A few questions for you guys. Need to lose some weight and get healthy.
Ib4 tl;dr
1). If anyone here has tried them, how much better were you feeling and how much weight did you lose?
2). What are some recipes that yall have used and how is the overall taste?
3). A lot of these shake or smoothie recipes I am seeing appear to fill up two glasses. Would it be productive to maybe make a few batches on a Sunday and then store them? I know that I could, but are there any air tight drink bottles you would suggest that I could pour it in, keep it fresh, and grab out the fridge to drink at work or while heading to work in the morning.?

Get a Breville juicer.
Here's my recipe that I use everyday:
1 cup of orange juice
1 banana
2 good handfuls of kale lettuce
a spoonful of coconut oil
a heaping spoonful of flaxseed
5-7 frozen strawberries
ice
Optional: Whey protein is you are looking for a meal replacement
Best smoothie ever, imo.

I rocked the kale smoothie for a while. Your handfulls must be pretty small because I couldn't get past the texture of the shake

Since I don't eat a whole lot of meat, I get a lot of my nutrients from my kale smoothie

I use an oversized cup for my smoothie.

I'm a gym rat so I normally use these to bulk up. That's why I added the peanut butter/oats as extras.

It is always loosely packed to the top of the blinder. The texture doesn't bother me so much. Although, it would help greatly to spend the $500 and get the Vitamix blender. I'd like to do that when I have the money. They are legit blenders.

I went with the blendtec instead of the vitamix. Both are awesome blenders, though. I love my blendtec

I prefer to juice. You get a much more concentrated product.

I have a green smoothie every morning. I didn't really have any weight to lose when I started them but could definitely see differences in energy levels. My mornings are very slow if I don't have one.
My usual drink consists of: 2 bananas (1 frozen, 1 fresh), at least 2 cups of spinach sometimes more, handful of fruit I happen to have hanging around (apple, orange, pineapple, frozen berries, mango), cacao powder, PB2 powdered peanut butter, chia seeds, hemp seeds and water. Also some other super green powders.
I rotate the greens that I use... sometimes spinach, kale, dandelion greens or romaine. Will be adding fresh watermelon juice instead of water soon.
I just got lucky and found a great deal on a brand new Vitamix on Craigslist so I have been having 2 green smoothies a day.
I usually make enough for a morning smoothie and a little to have in the afternoon. It's not worth it for me to make them early because I have time to make them. If you are in a rush and would rather make them ahead of time, I would just drink them within 2 days. I use mason jars for storage.

I have a green smoothie almost every morning. I did purchase a Vitamix at last fall which makes all the difference in the world when it comes to texture. I use coconut water, a good bit of kale or spinach, handful of frozen pineapples and mangos, and a banana. I'll throw carrots in there sometimes or other random fruit. Never really ate breakfast before and was always starving by lunch, which leads to poor dining decisions. Now that I have a green smoothly and usually a granola bar in the morning, I tend to be more conscious of what I eat for lunch.
