Hows the Jameson limited reserve?
Posted on 3/21/12 at 6:07 pm to Phate
Great value, but things most can afford ($20-$30): Eagle Rare 10 year, Elmer T Lee, Buffalo Trace
$40-$50 Range: Blanton's, Rock Hill Farm, Jefferson Reserve, Elijah Craig 18 year, Basil Hayden's, 4 Roses Single Barrel
Upper end of your range: Eagle Rare 17 year, Jefferson Presidential Select, George T Stagg

No more than $100
Bushmill's Three Wood for that price.
Crown Reserve for about $50.
I wouldn't get them Scotch unless you know them to be a fan.

Highland Park 18 is probably the best $100 scotch if you want to go the scotch route.

I will admit that I've drank the hell out of some handles of Old Charter at some Ville Platte weddings.

For $100 I'd go Jefferson Presidential Select 18-year (it's still around in a few places) or Highland Park 18-year.
Blanton's if you want to half that, or maybe some Cardhu scotch.
Lots of good suggestions in this thread.

If you can get it, right now think it is only here in Texas (even then limited), but this is some good stuff but little expensive around $75 a bottle.

Buy them some R&R. They will never talk to you again.
