I asked the waitress why it took them so long to get open. Turns out the board was right - permits.

I had the Round and Brisket Pho. Absolutely delicious!

Glad to say they had table service, not ordering from the counter like I thought.

As much outdoor seating as inside.

You can get live crawfish as a side??

They serve traditional NOLA poboys, bahn mi, a few Chinese dishes, NOLA seafood plates, boiled seafood, and a bunch of rice and noodle dishes.

Since this place is right around where I live, my wife and I will be eating here regularly.

ETA 4/7/17 - Business closed For rent sign outside. I guess their high prices for pho did them in.

Yeah, it's not as low as I'd like, but isn't that true with everything these days?

The whole menu is pricey. I'm not a big fan of Vietnamese restaurants with menus that are so extensive. I wish them good luck but it could bite them in the butt.

My eyes widened at the pho prices as well, but if it's close and good I probably wouldn't bat an eye. And it's not far, so I guess I should try it to determine if I think it's good.

That's very good to know. I figured Pho Orchid would be higher, that's why I haven't been there.

That's pricey for pho, really anything over 8.99 (unless some kind of combo) is.

Pho is pretty cheap at most joints, usually. I'd charge more if I was in the business.

When you say "permits," ... building permits/code enforcement?

No, not Vietnamese.

It's the most expensive Pho' I've ever seen, including places with better locations and food quality(assumed, based on your review).

ETA: Solid review and I'll try it soon.

I didn't get too nosey with my questions, after all, this was a waitress, not the owner.

Did you happen to notice if they were using bread from Dung Phuong for their sandwiches?
