And GG, he used both bay leaf and okra. Deal with it.

Well my wife just made jambalaya with parboiled Zatarains rice. My house smells like jambalaya and in 17 minutes I'm going to eat it like I'm goin to the lectric chair.

I ain't mad.

Of course he used Okra. It was gumbo.

Sigh ... I wish my Brother Otis and Sister GG would learn to get along.

This dang gumbo fight will be the death of this family.

Can't you kids play nice just once?

Okra can add to a gumbo if it's cooked down. If it's not cooked down, it's not good in a gumbo.

I don't like Commander's gumbo.

And, I don't need to watch anyone else make it. I know how.

I love Commander's palace but I'm not a huge fan of their gumbo either

New Orleans style gumbo. 2nd rate variety.

I'm of the opposite opinion. I liked their gumbo.

I don't make or prefer mine quite as thick as theirs. I thought the chicken and sausage had a really good flavor the one time I tried it.

For the people saying they didn't like it, what is the reason?
