But Freebirds was GREAT! At least it was when I had it about 20 years ago.

The cilantro-lime rice is a game-changer. Other than that they're pretty meh. If nothing else Izzo's at least keeps spinach tortillas in stock. Most of the time I've eaten at freebirds they were out.

It's a fricking burrito place. Do you really need a review and affirmation from the rednecks on the OT

Izzo's is better than both Moe's and Chipotle.

And Qdoba.

What do you get at Izzo's that's better than Qdoba? I've tried several things from both and I can't think of anything from Izzo's I liked more...

Qdoba has bad rice and shitty tortillas. Their burritos are gummy.

Do you really need a review and affirmation from the rednecks on the OT to allow you to eat there? Since you are the last to know about places, go spend your $9 and check the place out.
Be sure and ask for free chips and salsa and extra lemons in your free water too.

true, not like $9 is some major investment that requires a lot of planning beforehand

Ate there 3 times.

The one on Corporate has been shut done for renovations for a few months now but they haven't been doing any work, leads me to believe that it's not going to reopen. I used to go there at least once a week.

I prefer Chipotle, as they put less carb filler in their proteins. I usually do a salad with double meat, no rice, no beans. Absolutely no reason for 4oz of chicken breast to have 4g carbs.

I was walking past the Izzo's near my house and was thinking that it's convenient, fast, tasty enough and within walking distance. I've eaten a burrito from there probably three times since they opened over a year ago. I imagine most of these places are within the same ballpark. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there, but it'll do occasionally.
