Is there anything more boring than a baked chicken?

My mom used to make this for dinner alllll the time and it was such a bore. She's a great cook, but I quickly grew tired of the weekly baked chicken and sweet potato dinner. What's a boring dish to you?

I eat baked chicken breasts all the time. The key is in the seasoning or sauce... the chicken itself is never going to be super flavorful, but will be tender and juicy when done right.

plain roasted chicken, especially breasts, are pretty boring

they are weekly thing in my house though, as I don't require all my meals to be exciting...

when I was growing up, we had baked leg quarters at least twice per week. mom would cook rice and we would make a grease gravy with some sweet peas on the side.

personally......I don't crave it. however, my kids absolutely love when I bake chicken.

I don't really need exciting meals per say, but as a teenager that shite killed me.

Chicken breasts are very boring to me as well. I eat chicken dishes (tacos, pot pie, braised chicken, etc.), but a plate like this kills me. I'd rather skip a meal than eat it.

I agree. Spaghetti has never done much to interest me.

See, I love spaghetti. And I get cravings for red sauce pasta dishes.

I like to bake it til golden brown in a casserole dish. Then add two can of Cream of Mushroom Soup and a can of green beans. Cover and lower temp to bout 275 for 45 min and serve with mashed potatoes. The adds will distract you from the boring chicken.

My mom isnt a great cook but she tried. Her favorite dish is spaghetti and my sister would eat it so we had it all the fricking time. Straight from the jar.

Having a dish with red sauce more than once a month is too much for me.
