That is some foul beer. Really did a number on my stomach.

And back to the OP, if I'm drinking cheap domestic beer, I'm going with Miller Lite. I don't know why it's my cheap domestic of choice, but I've probably drunk enough Miller Lite over the years to float a cruise ship on

If you really love it, you should at least know how to spell it.
I'll drink Miller Lite over the other mass produced crappy beers.

Miller Lite?

Drink it daily. It's like rice, bread, water for me.
Sustenance.
I never put much stake in beer, to me it's like having an opinion about Dasani vs. Ozark water.

Agreed. I cannot drink bud light (budweiser is fine). Even in college I hated natty light.

You have lost all credibility. I assume there's no difference in a LaBoca steak and a Waffle House T-Bone as well.

....yikes

You sounding like David Chang over there. Never understood how you can be a chef who harps on the subtle differences in food that the average Joe doesn't notice, but don't acknowledge the difference in good beer vs shite beer.

Luckily, I drank wine per your amazing sommelier when I came by ;)

Yep to all of this. Batch 2 is surprisingly good. Nobody will give it a shot though after the awfulness of the initial batch. And I don't blame them.

Beer is the vessel that allows me to endure, not celebrate. One cannot possibly celebrate everything. I choose not to celebrate beer. Some people think a $3 burger is perfect, I'd rather spend $10 on a company burger, or $25/lb on a steak.
Pick & choose.
We don't all choose to drive Rolls Royce. Give me a truck any day.
Whatever works for you. And I have never shamed anyone for their choice in where they eat steak either.
If that cost me credibility, C'est la vie

Okay, that's fair. I was just a little surprised. It seemed like a categorical dismissal versus a personal one. Seemed like an outright disregard for any nuance within the scene. That was objectionable. If you choose not to partake, fine! We can only split something so many ways, so if you focus elsewhere, I understand.

That being said, if you chose to indulge, you might find some wonderful complements to the exceptional flavors you have on your menu.

But if not, well...I'll still be back. LaBoca is legitimately just that good.
